From France to the Napa Valley

Napa Valley dentist, Karl E. Biernath, has provided family dentistry in the Napa Valley for over 15 years. Dr. Biernath (pronounced Beernot) was born and raised in France, near Versailles until the age of 18 when he moved to California with his family. He attended the LycEe Francais in San Francisco and obtained his baccalaureate. With advice from his grandfather and relatives in the dental technician field, Dr. Biernath considered a career in medicine or dentistry outside of Europe. Dr. Biernath chose dentistry because of the challenging hand skills and changing new materials which intrigued and fascinated him. He attended University of the Pacific in Stockton California where he majored in Chemistry as an undergraduate preparing for dental school.
